Sea Ranch Lakes Properties
The beautiful Town of Sea Ranch Lakes is one of Broward County’s hidden gems and is located across from the Beach, adjacent to Lauderdale by the Sea, and just a few minutes away from Ft. Lauderdale. The Community is located East of the Intracoastal and includes a private Oceanfront Clubhouse on the Beach with a Swimming Pool, Playground, BBQ Grills, and Volleyball. As a Guard Gated Waterfront Community, Sea Ranch Lakes is 1 of only 4 such Communities in Broward County and is also one of the very few Gated Communities that are located East.
The Community was established in the late 1950’s and Homes include those that are of original construction/in need of complete renovation (Teardowns), Houses that have been renovated, and new Construction Homes that were built when previously existing Homes were demolished. Homes in Sea Ranch Lakes are Waterfront and non-Waterfront, with Waterfront properties located on the Intracoastal and 2 Lakes (Lake Seneca and Lake Cayuga).
When showing properties in Sea Ranch Lakes recently, I took pictures of the private Beach Club, which I included below. The Clubhouse has a maximum capacity of 195 people and is perfect for hosting Social events such as Birthday Parties, Weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Holiday Parties, etc.
The Homeowner’s Association Fee for Sea Ranch Lakes is paid Quarterly and is only $600.00 per Quarter.
Recent Property Sales
During 2011, 7 properties were purchased in Sea Ranch Lakes. Their purchase price range was $445,000 – $2,501,392 and only 2 of the properties were purchased for prices under $800,000. The property that was purchased for $2,501,392 is an Intracoastal front property located at 36 Minnetonka Rd. (pictured below). Although 2012 just started, one property has already been purchased, 12 Cayuga Road, sold for $575,000 on January 27, 2012.

Currently, 14 Sea Ranch Lakes properties are for sale, 11 Single Family Homes and 3 Vacant Lots.
The Single Family Homes that are for sale were constructed between 1960 – 2011 and include non-Waterfront and Waterfront properties (Intracoastal and Lakefront). Their list price range is $799,000 – $3,850,000.
The 3 Vacant Lots are priced in a range of $515,000 – $2,300,000 (2 are Intracoastal front and located at 30 Minnetonka Rd.)
