An Associate Producer from HGTV called and emailed me this week to let me know that they’re currently searching for 30 South Florida Homeowners and Agents for their Show, “My First Sale.” HGTV is one of my favorite Channels and I watch many of their Shows, including “My First Sale”, but none of the Homeowners of my current Listings fit the search criteria.
If you’re a South Florida Homeowner’s who’s selling a Home for the first time or if you’re a Real Estate Agent who would like to be considered for Casting and have an appropriate Listing, this could be an interesting opportunity or you can pass the information along if you know someone who might be interested. I included the information below and you can contact Amy if you would like to receive the Application for submission.
“High Noon Entertainment and HGTV are now casting for “My First Sale” in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale and the surrounding areas!!! The show features Homeowners who are selling their first place and their Realtors are also featured. The format is very similar to our hit show, “My First Place” but now in its third season, “My First Sale” shows the inherent drama and excitement of Homeowners selling a home for the very first time!! We’re currently looking for fun, high-energy first-time Home Sellers (and their Realtors) who are interested in being featured on the show! The first time Home Sellers should be very motivated to sell and open to having a camera crew shoot all of the exciting processes and experiences of listing and selling their first home. All price ranges and home types are welcome and Short Sale listings are also eligible. Singles, families and couples are all invited to apply. We are casting until January and are accepting applications immediately from candidates who plan on selling by Spring 2011. Although the focus is primarily on the home seller, their Realtor gets significant exposure on the show, as they are with us every step of the way. We do not have a host so the Realtor is the expert in the episode. We also ask the Realtors to keep our producers informed on the key events as they come up (offers, counter offers, inspection results, closing, etc.) so we can capture all of these moments on film.
