During the month of November 2010, 74 Homes were purchased in Broward County in a purchase price range of $510,000 – $4,150,000 and information in the Table below details their locations and purchase prices.   28 of the purchases are listed as being Cash purchases. 

Of the 74 Homes purchased, 7 were Bank Owned Foreclosures and 9 were Short Sales.

Currently, there are 1,795 listings of Single Family Homes in Broward County that are listed for prices of $500,000 and above.  The highest list price is $39,950,000 for an Oceanfront Home on Hillsboro Mile.   Of the 1,795 listings, 17 are Bank Owned Foreclosures and 193 are Short Sales, so distressed properties are a very small part of the current inventory of Luxury properties for sale.   Luxury Homes are not the majority of the total inventory of properties listed for sale.   In the price range under $500,000, 6,703 Single Family Homes are listed for Sale in Broward County’s 30 Cities.
