2012 Thanksgiving Dinner and Brunch in South Florida

Here’s my 2012 list of 31 Restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale and several nearby South Florida Cities that will be open on Thanksgiving and offering special Thanksgiving Menus.   The Restaurants are serving Brunch and/or Dinner.    Their locations are Ft. Lauderdale, Lauderdale by the Sea, Pompano Beach, Davie, Dania Beach, Deerfield Beach, Boca Raton, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Weston, Coconut Grove, Bal Harbour, Coral Gables, West Palm Beach, North Palm Beach, Miami Beach/South Beach, and Delray Beach.

NOTE:  contact the Restaurant of your choice in advance to re-confirm the Hours and to determine if Reservations are required!

Thanksgiving will be Thursday, November 22, 2012

    1. Ritz-Carlton Ft. Lauderdale (Oceanfront across from the Beach)

      Thanksgiving Brunch from 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Enjoy traditional Thanksgiving and Sunday Brunch favorites, including several delicious Stations (Breakfast, Salad, Caviar, Imported & Domestic Cheese, Seafood on Ice, Grilled Seafood, Sushi, Carving Station, Soup, Pasta, and Dessert).
      $95 per guest, includes champagne;  $35 per child ages 12 and under;  $1 per year old for children enjoying the Kid’s Buffet Only.

    2. Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, FL. Various Restaurants will be open for Thanksgiving, including Blue Plate, Council Oak Steak & Seafood, Blue Point Ocean Grill, and Renegade BBQ.  They can be contacted here.

    3. Indigo Restaurant at the Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale at 620 E. Las Olas Blvd.:  Thanksgiving Day Buffet from 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.  Click here for additional details.

      Serving a Thanksgiving Feast from 11:00 – 5:00 with 7 Seating times available.  Reservations are required and the price is $75 per Adult + Tax and 20% Gratuity.

    5. East End Brasserie (formerly Trina) at the Atlantic Resort and Spa, 601 N. Ft. Lauderdale Beach Blvd, Ft. Lauderdale (across from the Ocean), (954) 567-8070. Open from 2 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

    6. Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse,  all South Florida locations (Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Coral Gables, North Palm Beach, and West Palm Beach).   Open 2:00 pm. – 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

    7. Chima Brazilian Steakhouse, 2400 E. Las Olas Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale, (954) 712-0580. Open 2 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

    11. Riva Restaurant at Harbor Beach Marriot Resort & Spa (direct Oceanfront on the Beach), 3030 Holiday Drive, Ft. Lauderdale.  Open from 1:30 – 5:30 on Thanksgiving, (954) 766-6168.

    12. Chart House Restaurant (formerly Charley’s Crab), 3000 NE 32nd Av., Ft. Lauderdale (Intracoastal front Restaurant),  (954) 561-4800.  Open from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

    13. Steak 954 at the W Hotel , 401 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, Ft. Lauderdale (across from the Ocean), (954) 414-8333. Open from 11:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

    14. Grill 66 & Bar at Hyatt Regency Pier 66, 2301 SE 17th St Causeway, Ft. Lauderdale (Intracoastal front Restaurant),  (954) 728-3500.  Open from 4:00  p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

    15. Shula’s on the Beach, Open from 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving,  321 N. Ft. Lauderdale Beach Blvd. (A1A), Ft. Lauderdale, (954) 355-4000 (Oceanfront across from the Beach).  The Miami Beach location will be open on Thanksgiving as well.

    18. Islamorada Fish Company, 220 Gulf Stream Way, Dania Beach, (954) 927-7737. Open until 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

    19. Mai Kai Restaurant, 3599 N. Federal Hwy., Ft. Lauderdale, (954) 563-3272.  Open beginning at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

    29. Timpano Italian Chophouse, 450 E. Las Olas Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale, FL, (954) 462-9119.  Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner will be served and will be $32.99 per person.

    30. Blue Moon Fish Company, 4405 West Tradewinds Avenue, Lauderdale by the Sea, FL, (954) 267-9888 (Intracoastal location).   Thanksgiving Dinner will be served from 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. ($49.95 for Adults and $24.95 for Children ages 6-12).
