A few weeks ago, I blogged about my sale of an East Ft. Lauderdale Home in the Coral Ridge Community to Buyers whom I represented in their property purchase. I was fortunate to receive an amazing testimonial/review from them about their experience working with me during their property purchase and I shared it below. I love my work as a Realtor and having happy Buyers and Sellers makes my work truly rewarding. Kelly and Ira, thanks again!

Vickie:
I was just sharing with a colleague of mine how much I enjoyed the process of moving from Boca Raton to Fort Lauderdale, and when he said “I can understand why you’d like the new house, but you seem so happy about the process itself,” I smiled and thought about you. Kelly and I have bought four houses together over the prior 20 years together, and the expectations are generally the same;
- Help us determine our basic needs (room count, location, etc.),
- Find houses that meet that set of parameters, and
- Present the contract.
Therefore, when Kelly first reached out to you for assistance in finding us a home in the Coral Ridge area, I did not even need or want to be involved until the closing (I hope you took no offense) – There was just no reason in my mind where a real estate professional could add any other value through the process, so as long as you could find her an affordable place to live, I was fine. That’s where I was so wrong. You’ve developed some amazing best-practices, and whether you fully appreciate how wonderful you stand out above the level of other real estate professionals, I’m here to tell you how amazing you are!
Regarding the support you provided in finding options for homes, you dedicated more time and effort into the search and showings that I would have ever dreamed. Beyond finding practically every option and style of 3-4 bedroom homes in the area in our price range, you invested quite a bit of effort in communicating the value of each unique neighborhood to us. Boca Raton is quite different – With every neighborhood being in a Planned Unit Development, the neighborhoods are well defined, values easy to determine, and comps are very generic. In Fort Lauderdale, I didn’t really appreciate how being one or two blocks in a different direction have a vastly different impact upon quality of life, and property value. You were able to pinpoint for us the exact neighborhood feel we were seeking, and help coordinate the offer process so that we’re exactly where we want to be, both today and hopefully for a lifetime.
I honestly would have expected that once the offer had been accepted, your contribution to the process was largely over – Again, you stepped up and showed me how a true professional shines. You have a wonderful habit of initiating communication to generate action and feedback from others. When appraisers had questions, you were on it. When insurance agents were not proactively communicating, you were on top of it. When the loan officer had questions, you had answers.
In every e-mail and phone call, you were consistent in your communication style, stating the issue, a proposed solution, and expected next steps of all parties. At no time did I have any doubt that you were in total control of the transaction, and I can never thank you enough for that. If Kelly or I can ever help you in any way, please just call upon us. I hope that we’ve found our home for the rest of our lives, but if we ever move again, I have no doubt who we’ll be calling. My sincere thanks for all that you’ve done, and for who you are.
