January – June of 2013

Located in the Northwest area of Broward County, the City of Parkland is a desirable choice for Buyers who enjoy Suburban living in an area that offers Luxury Homes and sprawling Estates in Gated and non-Gated Communities, Golf Course, Equestrian, and Tennis Communities.

During the months of January – June of 2013, MLS Property Records indicate that 209 Parkland Single Family Homes were sold through Brokers (property Sales by Brokers comprise the vast majority of property sales). Note: a number of new Construction Homes in the Communities of Heron Bay and Parkland Golf and Country Club were also sold through Brokers, but weren’t Marketed for Sale through the MLS, so sales of those properties are reflected in Broward County Property Sales records only.

The purchase price range of the 209 Properties was $171,500 – $4,300,000, with an average purchase price of $551,319 (compared to an average of $522,949 for the same time period in 2012, so Real Estate values are increasing in Parkland as they are throughout all of South Florida).
Communities where the properties are located are Parkland Golf and Country Club, Bennington, Heron Bay, Country’s Point, Cypress Cay, Cypress Head, Fox Ridge, Grand Cypress Estates, Whittier Oaks, Waters Edge, The Landings, Terramar, Ternbridge Estates, Tall Pines, Riverside Acres, Pinetree Estates, Parkwood, Parkside Estates, Parkland Village, Parkland Reserve, Parkland Place, Parkland Lakes, Parkland Isles, Meadow Run, May at Parkland, Greenbriar, and BBB Ranches.
40 of the properties were sold as Short Sales and 11 were sold as Bank Owned Foreclosures.
