During January 2014 – May 23, 2014, 16 Single Family Homes were purchased in Rio Vista. 5 of the Properties that sold are Waterfront properties that were purchased with final sale prices ranging from $950,000 – $4,200,000, with an average purchase price of $2,026,500. All are located on deep Ocean Access Canals without Fixed Bridges. 11 of the Properties that sold are non-Waterfront properties that were purchased with final sale prices ranging from $320,000 – $1,350,000, with an average purchase price of $783,818.
Note: the Home that sold for $320,000 is a Teardown/Handyman special. In East Communities, Land value is a very large part of property values and properties that are purchased for the lowest prices in the Community are usually Teardowns/in need of complete renovation.
