Below are details about the current, average purchase prices for Ft. Lauderdale Oceanfront Condos (based on the purchase prices of Oceanfront Condos sold in Ft. Lauderdale during the Months of January – August of 2017):
- 2-Bedroom Units in Buildings constructed prior to 1997: $502,277
- 3-Bedroom Units in Buildings constructed prior to 1997: $681,888
- 2-Bedroom Units in Buildings constructed in 1997 and after: $1,006,063
- 3-Bedroom Units in Buildings constructed in 1997 and after: $1,762,864
In the information noted above, I used the year 1997 since 1997 was the Construction year for the first of Ft. Lauderdale’s most recently constructed direct Oceanfront Condos. Only 4 direct Oceanfront Condos ON the Beach (not across from the Beach) in Ft. Lauderdale were constructed within the last 20 Years (1997 – 2017). Of those 4, the most recently constructed Condo is Coconut Grove Residences, which was built in 2007.
Currently under construction ON the Beach is Auberge Beach Residences which, when complete, will be the only Oceanfront Condo ON the Beach in Ft. Lauderdale that’s been built within the last 10 Years. Auberge will include a total of only 171 Units and will be 100% Condo, not Condo Hotel.
