South Florida’s record breaking luxury Property sales in 2020
During 2020, more Buyers than ever before purchased luxury Homes in South Florida as Wealthy buyers relocated from States in the Northeast such as New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and others, moved from the Midwest, California, and other locations, and also increased their purchases of South Florida vacation Homes. South Florida’s ultra-luxury home market boomed in 2020, setting multiple records throughout the Year.
At the beginning of the Coronavirus Pandemic in early 2020, many people thought that Real Estate sales would plummet significantly and that property values would decline, however, the exact opposite happened in South Florida, particularly in the Single Family Home market. The purchase prices of South Florida’s luxury properties and the number of properties sold are breaking records! Additionally, most of South Florida’s luxury Buyers are Cash buyers. Currently, the inventory of Single Family Homes is very low, it’s insufficient to meet the level of demand from Buyers, and it’s a Seller’s Market.
