Record-breaking sales of South Florida Waterfront Homes and Yachts

 

 

Boat and Yacht sales are continuing to soar in 2021, there’s a severe shortage of Marina space, and also a significant shortage of Waterfront Ocean access properties with dockage. “In the United States, Florida is a hotbed for yacht and boat sales, making up 25-30% of all sales in the country. Denison Yachting notes that Florida actually had its best Q1 in over a decade.“

There’s very high demand from buyers of Single Family Waterfront Homes and insufficient inventory to meet the level of demand. Waterfront Condos and Townhomes that have dockage are selling quickly as well. Waterfront properties and Land in South Florida are selling for record-breaking prices. They have always been precious Real Estate, but they’re even more so now. Scarcity and high demand are factors that are contributing to quickly increasing property values.

Waterfront properties in South Florida are available in Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, and Broward County. The City of Fort Lauderdale has the most Ocean access Waterways of any location in North America. Fort Lauderdale is the Mega Yacht Capital of North America aka the Venice of America and has almost 200 miles of navigable Waterways. Fort Lauderdale’s annual International Boat Show is the largest on-Water Boat Show in the World. This Year’s show will be held on October 27th – 31st, 2021.

Buyers of Waterfront properties in South Florida include local Buyers, buyers who are relocating from other States, Investors, Foreign buyers, and buyers who purchase vacation Homes. Within the U.S., the State of Florida has the highest number of vacation property sales.
