Cash buyers in South Florida’s luxury Real Estate market
Cash buyers continue to dominate South Florida’s luxury Real Estate market in 2023. The State of Florida has the highest number of cash property sales in the U.S.
During the month of August 2023:
- 74% of Condos and Townhomes that were purchased in the $1,000,000+ range were cash purchases
- 52% of Single Family Homes that were purchased in the $1,000,000+ range were cash purchases
Individually, Palm Beach County had the highest percentage of cash sales. 84% of the Condo sales were cash and 65% of the Single family home sales were cash.
The properties that sold are located in Broward County, Palm Beach County and Miami-Dade County.
