Point of Americas Condo Real Estate Market Report

 

During the months of January – November of 2011, 31 Units were purchased in Point of Americas (POA) Tower 1 and Tower 2.     Of the 2 Towers, Tower 2 is located closest to the Ocean.  The purchase price range of the Units sold was $300,000 – $1,200,000, with an average purchase price of $617,426.    Residences that have the best views, largest size, renovated condition, custom design and/or luxury Finishes continue to command premium prices.

Point of Americas enjoys an enviable, direct Oceanfront, 10-Acre location on the Beach at the Port Everglades Inlet where all of the Cruise Ships enter Ft. Lauderdale.   Units that are located on high Floors enjoy sweeping views of the Coastline, Port, City Skyline, and/or Intracoastal.   I visited the Building again last week while viewing Units with interested Buyers and included pictures that I shot while there.

Included below is information about each Unit purchased this year, along with purchase prices and other details.    Of the 31 Units that were purchased, 2 were purchased as Bank Owned Foreclosures and none were purchased as Short Sales.
