Vickie Arcuri, GRI, CLHMS, REALTOR®
Since April of 2007, I have been Blogging about South Florida Real Estate, lifestyle in South Florida, and International properties that I’m marketing through my Blog on Active Rain. While I still Blog on Active Rain occasionally, this website is my primary Blogging platform. My posts include a variety of material, not only about the Real Estate Market, but also Restaurant Reviews, Nightlife, Sports events, and other South Florida tidbits of interest. Enjoy and please feel free to engage and offer your feedback.
As a full-time Real Estate professional and South Florida homeowner, I am committed to providing you with outstanding service and assistance in meeting your Real Estate goals.
I specialize in representing Buyers and Sellers of Luxury and Waterfront properties in South Florida.
As a Real Estate Professional, I consistently engage in continuing my Real Estate Education and enhancing the set of services that I offer my Buyers and Sellers.
I completed The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing’s Luxury Home Specialist Course, became an Institute Member, and earned the Designation of Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), which is a Designation that is awarded to Real Estate Agents based on their sales of Luxury Properties. In 2012, I was awarded Membership in the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing’s Million Dollar Guild based on my sales in the current Market of properties that were each sold with purchase prices of $1,000,000 or more.
Additionally, I earned the Designation of GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Institute), which is awarded to Realtors who complete a 120-hr. Course covering in-depth aspects of Real Estate Contract Law, Professional Standards, Finance, Risk Reduction, and Client Services.

Personal Bio and Community Service
Originally from Louisiana, I moved to Florida in 1989 when I was 13 and I love living in South Florida. My Husband and I have been together since 2003 and share our Home with our Tabby Cat, Morris. I’m a Graduate of Florida State University and have a B.S. Degree in Interdisciplinary Social Science.
In addition to my Real Estate work, I enjoy Reading, Cooking, Horseback Riding, Bowling, Playing Piano, Volunteer Work, attending a wide variety of Music events and other Entertainment events, watching Movies, Traveling, walking on the Beach at night, Dancing, Canoeing, Boating, Jetskiing, and attending Sports events (my favorites are Basketball, Football, and Tennis).
Community service is important to me and I’ve been a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters since 1997. The local office is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (established in 1904) is the world’s oldest Mentoring Organization. Mentoring with them is structured such that each Mentor (Big Sister or Big Brother) mentors one Child until that Child reaches the age of 18 (given that the mentoring relationship is a successful one).
My first “Little Sister” was 13 when I met her in 1997. My current “Little Sister” is 16 and we’ve been together since she was 8. Each Child’s Parent or Guardian is the person responsible for registering their Child to be matched with a Mentor. A Child’s participation in the program is not limited by amount of Household Income or a Parent or Guardian’s Marital Status. It is simply about a Parent or Guardian feeling that their child(ren) would benefit from having a Mentor. Children ages 6-18 are eligible for participation. A few examples of our Activities include going to Movies, riding Horses, attending Arts and Entertainment events, attending Community events, completing Homework together, having Lunch or Dinner together, going to the Zoo, Traveling, and a variety of other activities.
If you’re interested in volunteering and/or know a Child who would benefit from having a Mentor, the South Florida Offices can be contacted through their websites:
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach County
In addition to my Volunteer work with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, I also donate Blood on a regular basis and have been registered with the National Marrow Donor Program since 1995.
